For some reason, about 90% of my pictures from Vegas were taken the first day. That is not to say that I didn't have fun the rest of the time. In fact, I had a blast re-exploring the parts of Vegas that I have seen before, and just relaxing by the pool (until it was too hot) then wandering the air conditioned casinos and shops the rest of the time. This first picture is from the Bellagio. I absolutely love the gardens in here, they might be my favorite part of the Strip.
We stayed at the Monte Carlo, and somehow Alex and I got the best view by far. Here is the view out our window at night.
Throughout the week we learned that Alex and I should not gamble, and that Gary and Andy should :). We also went to an AMAZING show (O) and had a wonderful time. I've got to say that this, the first of my Casqueiro vacations, makes me very excited for more in the future. Definitely a different style of vacationing than Johnson/Romrell (pack as many people and activities into as short a time as possible), but I love them both.
Much thanks to my parents for keeping Olivia for us. It was hard to be away for so long, but we Skyped with her, and she did great. She missed us a lot less than we missed her, and it was good to have a vacation.
