We spent the first weekend in June (yes I'm blogging in the current month now :) almost caught up!) in Keizer with the fam, and we were lucky enough to get to watch one of Tyler's teeball games! I totally miss kids sporting events, and can't wait until we get to experience them ourselves in a few years. It was a blast to cheer on these little boys as they honed their skills! Olivia wasn't entirely focused on the baseball, but was enjoying the sun, and got to ride Toby again, so that was fun!

She also spent a good amount of time demonstrating her new skill of walking! Totally unbalanced, and she's not very close to walking on her own, but she loves to stand up, and any time you grab her hands she will use them to pull herself up and go wherever she wants! She hasn't figured out crawling yet, but she's getting close and is definitely more mobile each day.

After teeball we ran a few errands, and ended up at Gary and Mary's for some relaxing time before heading home. At Target I picked up some hair ties to try a ponytail in Olivia's hair, and this was a little unsuccessful (I wasn't as willing to let her scream at her Grandparents' house as I am at ours...) but it was still super cute and I love the curl that her hair does!
She never really fell in love with the ponytail, but she stopped whining after a few minutes, and tolerated it until it just started falling out. Next time we will use a comb and hair spray to get it to last longer.

This is my favorite part of ponytails...the resulting mohawk when it's pulled out. I don't know if this is typical, but Olivia's hair will stay in a mohawk until it's washed or combed while wet. I should care more I guess, but I don't so I just let it stay until her next bath :)

Although hers isn't natural, I like to think that Olivia's taking after her cousin Teag, who has had a mohawk since he was born :)

We enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend in Keizer, and then went home to continue our craziness as I finished my last finals and assignments before summer!
