A couple days before Oliva turned 5 months, I was able to show a whole bunch of family and friends my wedding dress. I had a blast, and was so glad to share the experience with the people I love. I won't show any pictures, because I'm not showing Alex the dress early, but I did capture a picture of Tyler and Aiden with Olivia. Her two cousins are so sweet to play with her even though she can't play like they want yet. I'm very excited for her to grow up playing with these fun cousins!
And...the 5 month pictures. Olivia really didn't want to make it to 5 months without rolling over consistently, but she was sassy and waited til the very last day before rolling over and over and over...proving that she was plenty strong. During her 5th month she also really has been working on her grasping technique, and her rolling over was instigated by a toy just out of reach :).
I don't have her height/weight from this month, but she's growing like a weed! Already in 6 month clothes (since just after 4 months), and her feet aren't fitting in any of her socks anymore.
Olivia started eating real food this month, and so far has loved everything. Green beans didn't go over so well, but she tries everything and is a great eater. So far we have been mixing fruits and some vegetables with rice cereal, and interchanging milk with food for the daily meals. This new schedule has really helped her sleeping! (and her mom's sleeping)
So here's the 5 month pictures. Her outfit was my splurge for the month. I've always loved sailor outfits, and I found this super cute sailor dress on sale. Even though her drawers are busting at the seams, We came hom with a new outfit, and I don't regret it :)
The great smiles are because of her dad making funny noises :)
I also included a couple pictures of O interacting with us throughout the night. She's become quite enamored with faces, and although she's still working at grabbing what she means to grab, she always finds mouths pretty well :) And the picture with her daddy speaks for itself!
The last pictures are the funny ones. I'm sure in about 12 years I'll get in trouble for including these pictures, but They really show the funny side of Olivia's personality.
This hat is so adorable, the pictures truly don't do it justice. This was officially the first accessory that Olivia had to find clothes to match (but honestly, how many times have you done that? For me...lots) :) It was a gift from Rick and Shirley, and I love going on walks and going outside where we have an excuse to put it on, even though I'm sure it will fit better in the fall. Alex says right now it looks a little like a helmet, but I just think it's the cutest helmet I've ever seen!
